Learning how to learn

Learning How to Learn Review

First of all I just want to say thank you to the creators and publishers of this course. Not only was it a great course in which I learned a lot about more efficient ways to learn, but thank you for making the course free as well.

Review of the course

I liked this course. I think it brought up a lot of valuable things. I learned some new ways of learning more efficiently. I already knew some things about the course such as about chunking and using the pomodoro technique. Other things like not to highlight I did not already know about however. I also liked how they said not to try and learn one thing all at once, but to instead spread it out and do a bit each day. I prefer to learn using this method anyways.

The course was modern and used a lot of helpful visuals and examples. It was concise in that the videos were not too long and they let you speed them up. I also liked how they added additional readings and interviews that were optional.

A couple things I disliked were that in order to get the certificate of completion you had to pay, there were too many quizzes that were redundant, and some of the links they added for additional information led to sites where you had to pay to get the information.

Overall, I recommend the site to anyone trying to learn how to learn more effectively. Especially if you are just starting out and don’t already have prior knowledge on the subject. You also can’t beat the face that it was a free course.

    • Xiomara Wibeto, Thank you so much it means a lot to me that you say this! Especially since my website is young and doesn’t get much interaction yet. It’s reassuring to see that other people are enjoying reading it as much as I enjoy writing it. Don’t forget to subscribe so you get email alerts when I post new articles. Have a great day! 🙂
