“Success is where preparation and opportunity meet” – Bobby Unser. Success is something seemingly everybody wishes to achieve. But, how does one truly achieve success? Well that’s objective, success is in the eye of the beholder. This isn’t the question I’m here to answer today anyway.
There are so many questions revolving around success left unanswered. Undoubtedly, I will revisit the topic. For this blog post and for the sake of length I will attempt to answer one question.
How do you achieve success?
This is not a simple question, but one that I will try to answer simply. The quote above handles it quite well. To achieve success in whatever form you choose you must be prepared. You must put in the hard work. You must plan. You have to be ready and you must seize the opportunity once it presents itself.
In essence, prepare yourself to meet any obstacle, attain the skills you need, and have a plan. Beyond that you must keep a keen eye out for opportunity. Take every opportunity that presents itself. Crush it. You will be that much closer to reaching your dreams. That much closer to the perfect opportunity you are looking for in order to reach your form of success. Yes, it takes some luck to find the right opportunity. But, luck favors the bold.
Prepare yourself and put yourself in settings where opportunity is most likely to arise. You will never find success by preparing and not taking opportunity. And having the perfect opportunity will be wasted if you are not prepared.
If you want to find success. Be prepared for anything and keep an eye out of opportunity. Seize it. And you will have your success.
